Our Library
Dolores Huerta’s school library is large, welcoming and well-stocked. We have a full time bilingual librarian, providing standards-based library and computer instruction. Our library provides outstanding services to our students, teachers and families. The materials in our bilingual collection include biographies, easy fiction, juvenile fiction, videos and audio books, games, parenting guidebooks and poetry.
Our Library’s Mission
The Dolores Huerta School library strives to inspire a lifelong love of learning and biliteracy; model and reflect diversity; read the world with a critical eye; provide a welcoming space to collaborate, communicate and play; provide discovery learning opportunities integrating technology and the arts; and support community needs through collection development, responsive programming and teacher collaboration.
